When a user selects to visit a second web site associated with the advertisement, the second web site host may be compensated based on the selection. For example, the host of the second web site may be paid by the advertisement provider when a user selects to visit the second web site. Various methods for compensating the host of the second web site include payments based on a percentage of the number of selections to the second web site or an absolute number of selections.

X-Indywiki is not a Wikipedia browser; it’s a Wikipedia skin. Wikipedia has about a dozen of them. According to the creator:

In addition to providing a download link, the download page also includes instructions on how to install Wikipedia and X-Indywiki (through an existing Wikipedia installation or by installing from scratch).

The idea of this software is to be integrated with Wikipedia, not to replace it. In this way, you can use Wikipedia in two different ways: through the browser or through this software.

X-Indywiki’s central idea is summarized nicely by Wikipedia:

WikiTaxonomies is a wiki extension which creates a page for each

GitHub Pages deployment failed for my drupal site

I am trying to setup GIT repository for my drupal website. I am using Laravel, with php-fpm/apache mod. I have followed this article for setting up my GIT repository. My setup is following:

I have my local server running on port 4008 (instead of default 8080).
I have a URL like my-website.com/ (instead of default my-website.com).

When I do

git init
git remote add origin git@github.com:username/drupal-website.git
git push origin master
git push origin -u origin
git push origin –all
git push origin +master

I get an error:

fatal: ‘git@github.com:username/drupal-website.git’ does not appear to be
a git repository
fatal: No remote repository specified. Please, specify either a URL or
create a new repository.

I have no idea why this is happening. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong here.
FYI: I don

Description: X-Indywiki is an open source project that allows you to browse Wikipedia in an alternate format, displaying the text and associated links in a window while also showing side by side hyperlinked pictures.

Trying to use this very web site in Firefox, which exhibits some very good intentions to give me instructions to perform specific tasks (install plugins, optimize for performance, etc.), when I’m trying to get information from the first page, it tells me, “Are you sure you want to do this?” And when I click “Yes”, it asks me to restart the computer. Why? Because I want to use my computer with Firefox as it’s installed, not as the latest version of Firefox.
It’s frustrating for a variety of reasons. I may be on the wrong website, but the user could not know that until they have been very helpful. But, no, the user probably doesn’t know what to do, which is frustrating.
Then they try to make it go away, which doesn’t work, and want my money for it.
The lesson: if you want your browser to work right, don’t mess around with add-ons and plug-ins. Treat them as if they are virus packs, because they are.

I would have been very annoyed by the Wikipedia browser when it loaded onto a browser without my consent, as I’ve been repeatedly. I find it incredibly intrusive.
I found X-Indywiki, however, to be a fair alternative. I know how to use the Wikipedia search and I found the way to browse it via pictures to be a nice, optional bonus. It also didn’t require a browser restart.
