“Our SS19 Collection was inspired by the 60’s housewives with a modern twist of the domestic goddess,” says Primrose Boon, Merchandise Director at Fantasy Lingerie. “During this time, there was much emphasis on the iconic suburban neighborhoods and the stereotypical female role “as homemaker”. We took all the best parts during this era: empowering women, pastel colors, and retro silhouettes. This influenced us to focus on redefining the woman’s role today.”

“The ‘future is female’ movement has questioned a lot about the female role in everyday life,” Primrose explains. “Her role cannot be defined by societal pressures. Anything is possible—a reminder that each female has her own voice to be heard and body shape to be seen.”

“Inspired by vintage cocktail recipes, we have developed three delicious color tones: Mint Julep- our cold shoulder babydoll set; Blue Daiquiri- ruffled mesh teddy, and Pink Lady- bra and gartered skirt set,” says Primrose. “In addition to this pastel group we also have the prettiest retro floral print which is a kaleidoscope of pastels. This print pattern has been quite a success for us during our recent trade show at Altitude in Las Vegas.”
